Feel at home on Tyrfan
Climb Tyrfan is run and managed my Mark Baggy Richards. I have been walking and climbing mountains for over 40 years and Tryfan is one of the mountains I have visited the most.
I have lived close to Tryfan since 1999 and have always been captivated by the memorable, unique position and grandeur of the mountain. It truly is a UK classsic mountain for many reasons.
It was my first ever Welsh mountain I climbed when I was a secondary school pupil and the jump from Adam to Eve still brings a large smile.
The mountain has given me many happy memories and I have summited the peak by many ways.
Climbed both summer and winter on Tryfan having put new winter climbs on the mountain.
I have visited all the scrambles on many occasions and wandered many ways up its iconic North Ridge.
Paraglided off the West Face and over Adam and Eve
My fastest time up via the North Ridge was 38 minutes with 16 minutes to descend back to the road from the summit. Those days have long gone.
Tyrfan- Sheer Beauty and Delight
