Tryfan's smaller sibling Little Tyrfan is renowned for many climbers taking their firsts steps on a multi pitch climb.

Its perfect angle, plentiful holds and stunning location make this a truly remarkable venue to take those first climbing steps.
You can also take the option to abseil back down

3. Only a 15 min easy walk from the car park.

No prior rock climbing or scrambling experience is required,

Milestone Buttress

Classic multi pitch routes

Situated at the foot  of Tyrfan on its West Face, the Milestone as its know to the locals has a great ranger of introductory multi pitch rock climbs and is another ideal venue for weather the beginner .

Its not until you get up  close one can find a clean, inviting crag which is covered with cracks and handholds. 

Direct route must be one of the most classic multi pitch climbs within the UK and as such as claimed Iconic status.

This is a full day activity and if your ability and experience allow then you can start on a route on the Milestone and then join the North Ridge to summit Tryfan.
