So much choice
East Face climbs and scrambles -North Ridge scramble - West Face and South Ridge
West Face and South Ridge
This allows a more pleasant but still interesting way to the summit. The first 2 thirds of the route uses a well defined footpath and then we swing off left to go up the South Ridge for the final 3rd of the ascent.
The way down is to reverse the way we came up. The upper 3rd does require some easy scrambling over rocks but nothing too demanding.
This is suitable for anyone with some basic fitness.

A UK classic and the one most people wish to attempt.
It is not a walk but a fully engaging scramble and can be completed by anyone who has a reasonable level of walking fitness and is not afraid of heights.
The route will see you using hands from time to time as we weave a route through rocky terrain, though never too steep but very absorbing, exciting and satisfying.
